God Works All Things For Good

God Works All Things For Good

“God Works All Things for Good”
Romans 8:28

Sometimes, the things we think are bad are only bad to us. God has a different perspective. I mean, all of us know that bad things happen to people. Some bad things are the result of national or international crises. Some bad things are the result of bad decisions and bad conduct. Bad things happen. We know that. Today, you will discover that because of Romans 8:28, Christians have a unique way of processing life when bad things happen to them. Here are several great truths to remember from Romans 8:28:
A Definite Promise – And We Know
A Divine Promise – God Is Working
A Definitive Promise – All Things
A Dynamic Promise – Working Together for Good
A Defined Promise – For Those Who Love God

Romans 8:28 reminds us that God has a plan that is better than ours. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable, sometimes it doesn’t make sense to us, but it is always for our good if we love God and are the called according to his purpose. To his brothers who had faked Joseph’s death and sold him sold him to the Midianites who in turn sold him to the Egyptians, Joseph said, “as for you, you meant this for evil. But God meant it for good to save many people alive as it is this day.” That’s Romans 8:28 found in Genesis 50. Maybe the best example of Romans 8:28, is the cross of Jesus Christ. What could be worse than killing God’s Son? That’s the worst day in human history. Falsely accused, put on a cross, bleeding, nailed to a Roman place of execution. Yet it was the best thing that ever happened. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
