Jail Ministry
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering. -HEBREWS 13:1-3
Ephesians 4:32—Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Snellville members minister to the men and women locked up in the Gwinnett County Detention Center awaiting trial and sentencing, by meeting with interested inmates – men and women separately – in their housing units’ conference rooms, leading them in a gospel bible study, praying with them, listening to their fears and needs, and bringing their prayer requests to our congregation. This occurs Thursday and Friday nights, weekly.
Please contact Jeff McCanless, Tom Kutter Email - tomkutter@gmail.com or Tom Trueb Email - tom.2milemin@gmail.com for details and application forms. Schedules of participation are flexible.
