Visitor and Involvement Ministry

Leading Prospective Members Towards the Light of God

This Ministry is charged with moving visitors and prospective members toward engagement with other ministry work within the congregation.

The goals of the Visitor and Involvement Ministry is to greet as many visitors as possible, connect visitors to the work and life of the Church and show them how to build a personal relationship with Christ.

The Visitor Ministry is involved with:

  • Creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that demonstrates Christian warmth, love and comfort
  • Sending Welcome Cards to visitors
  • Working at the visitors desk
  • Connecting visitors with other members of the congregation
  • Answering visitor’s questions.
  • Creating group visiting schedules
  • Training the congregation to greet visitors
  • Working with special event committees to collect visitor information
